Find out more about Life Saving at our Life Saving Open Day The idea of the event is to provide a taster session for those who may be interested in getting involved in life saving as an activity through local clubs and organisations. Life Saving is a fun and challenging activity that takes many forms, allowing participants to gain recognised awards and qualifications, some that are vocational qualifications which can be used for employment. This introductory event is open to any competent swimmer who is able to swim 25m, is capable of swimming confidently and unaided in deep water (2.5m), and is aged 8 years or over. The event will be fully supervised by qualified lifeguards and all trainers / staff are CRB (Police) checked. To register a place, e-mail openday@warwicklsc.co.uk with your name (child's name if appropriate), address, contact phone number and e-mail address and a registration form will be sent out to you. |
